Baldassare Franceschini : Allegorical figure of purity with a unicorn and two putti
Baldassare Franceschini (1611-1689) was an Italian late baroque painter active mainly around Florence. He was named, from Volterra the place of his birth, Il Volterrano, or (to distinguish him from Ricciarelli) Il Volterrano Giuniore.
